Here’s why I recommend buying now and not waiting for the market to change.
Should you buy a home now or wait for prices to decrease? In truth, it’s not about prices or interest rates. It comes down to whether you want to buy a home now or wait a while.
We look at the data constantly, and I believe you should buy now. It is a great time to buy, and we know what rates and prices are like today. We don’t know what prices and rates will look like in the future, and by trying to time the market, you may end up overpaying. Rates are still in the high twos and low threes, but they could be in the fours or fives by the end of the year.
I advise using the information you have right now to make an informed decision about whether you should jump into the market or wait. I hate waiting for paint to dry, and I’m sure you’d hate to wait for the “perfect” market, only to find out you’ve missed the best time.
